The 1952 Jefferson High School Dragons - Record 6 - 2 - 2

In early February of 1958 five Jefferson students appeared on the Saturday morning television show, “The 4 H-Hour” with ~ Seated - Home Demonstration Agent Sarah R. Carnes, Lynda Massey, Jo Ann Maddox, Standing - Carolyn Maddox, Diane Hayes and Sara Massey.

Jefferson Golf Course - Built by Morris Bryan behind his house for Day Camp golf training in 1956. Morris Bryan taught the first Golf Class on the new course.

Mrs. J. B. Alexander, of Jefferson, is pictured receiving the keys to a new 1955 Chevrolet four door sedan from Tom williams, editor and publisher of The Jackson Herald. Mrs. Alexander was the Grand Prize winner of The Jackson Herald subscription drive contest in July of 1955.
