This final presentation of "The Golden Age of Jefferson High School" is dedicated to Dianne Buffington. Dianne was a graduate of the Class of 1965. We don't know why GOD called our sister home at such an early age. Being of the Christian faith, our family never wavered in that faith and the belief that everything happens for a reason. We know God had a plan for taking such a lovely young lady into his heavenly home. We may never understand the reason why, but we will always believe her destiny would have been one of caring for and helping those that needed her help. We believe her chosen career in nursing would have blossomed as she moved forward with her life. Our only regret is she never had the time on Earth to fulfill that destiny. Someday the Buffington family will be reunited. We await that day as we move on with our everyday lives. We loved Dianne. She was an Angel on Earth before she was an Angel in Heaven. We were Blessed the short time we had with her. The memories of those times will live with us forever. Jack and Cecil Buffington.
