On May 13, a sold out Jefferson High School auditorium was the scene of a “Womanless Wedding” presented by the 1954 Youth Advisory Committee. Proceeds were to go toward the purchase of equipment and supplies for the “Teen Junction” Youth Club in Jefferson and surrounding communities.
